The Project
WE Health
The project «Empowering Women in Health Innovation» (WE Health) is a strategic project of the EIT Health CAMPUS Programme that started in 2017. The project aims to enhance the participation of women in health innovation and entrepreneurial activities, by providing capacity-building specifically tailored to their needs and by inspiring and supporting them to advance in their professional careers.
The WE Health project seeks to fulfill the following objectives:
- Develop new activities and services (training and mentoring) tailored to the specific needs of women, taking into account the findings from our assessment study and literature review on gender-specific topics.
- Create a space for all interested actors involved in women entrepreneurship and gender issues, through the design and setting up of a Network of Women Health Innovators.
- Raise awareness of the need for more women-led startups and women health leaders, by means of new communications, tools, and content.
The project partners are IESE Business School (Spain), Karolinska Institutet Sweden, Technische Universität München (Germany), Grenoble Ecole de Management (France), Medical University of Lodz (Poland), University of Barcelona (Spain), La Caixa Foundation (Spain), National Universit of Ireland (Ireland), Oxford Academic Health Science Network (UK) and Glintt S.A (Portugal).
